Beautiful. I had not though of adding string bass to a flute ensemble lacking the contras. Works nicely.

There are only 4 contras in the world, so you'll probably not see them in performances.

@@rudolphmcneill515There are many more than 4 contrabass flutes, lots of flute choirs have one or two! I know subcontrabass and hyperbass are much more rare but even in my state I know of a couple subcontras.

Kudos to the lady playing bass flute. They are heavy to keep up in playing position minute after minute! Even a few measures rest can give one a much welcomed respite.

A couple of contra bass in there you could get rid of the strings , but they are nice addition to this piece 👍

So let's see, here we have a Middle eastern ensemble on European instruments playing an Argentine tango. Cultural appropriation at it's finest!...and I mean that in all due respect. This is a beautiful rendition.

have these been published officially (CD or streaming)?! The performances are great! My 15 year old self (20 something years ago!) would have killed to get tickets to these! ;)
