Thank you. I read the book once, loved it, now I am listening and reading again for the second time. Hemingway is beautiful when it's read aloud.

Fascinating how your feelings toward a person’s suffering changes when you realize they’re a racist.

This book was written in 1929. It was a very different time almost 100 years ago.

Thank you so much for the audiobook. I struggle focusing when reading hard texts like these but your videos helped a lot. I just want to say WHY DID IT HAVE TO END THE WAY IT DID.

Unfortunately for our friend Ernest, this reader has a grating voice that would shatter glass, very disagreeable to listen to, and his monotone, lifeless reading of the text is just plain awful and an insult to the author. Look elsewhere.

Thank you for reading this. Your focused attention throughout made the journey possible. Consistently you allowed me the space to join in the events and lives of these people fluidly. The author held me like putty in his hand. I'm enriched and exhausted and thank you.
