The thesis of Garland’s movie is “you don’t want this here.” Political ideology is irrelevant when a person is either a dead body in a mass grave or a war criminal who digs the mass grave.

No explanation of why there is a civil war, even if we can all guess as we wish. Huge flaw and missed opportunity for character development. A great film, but some how keeping it hollow was completely strange. Just make the jurnos argue about it. Easy.

Freaking hilarious movie.

it was utter garbage. Over the top nonsense but plenty of box ticking evident. Film makers are lazy and keep stealing classic movies because they are out of new ideas and want to use remakes as a salute to the past classics. Hopefully people will start wising up to this deceit.

I thought this concept was so ripe for an awesome thrilling ride, and to me the movie was not that. At 95min the pace surprisingly dragged and the movie tries to do too much that it loses sight of its simplistic yet brilliant concept. Could’ve been amazing but I walked out feeling, meh. Also I’m pretty sure it forgets there is no gravity in space more than a couple times! Great review. Keep making videos 👍
