Do you know of a video that shows all dolls of certain face molds all together? I’m trying to find one that would show, you know, like all the classic mold dolls, all the Josefina mold dolls, all the Jess molds, all the Joss molds, etc.

I recently bought a used Beforever Samantha on eBay and her bangs will not stay! Any tips? Do I need to get them super wet and hold them down in place with like a Bobby pin or something?

Any doll (I think) that comes with a braid (like Josefina and Kaya- not sure about Molly) have uneven hair when you take braids out. I took mine out when I got her (20+ years ago) and when my mom redid the pigtail braids… we cut the ends to be even. I know, I know. Bad. But they haven’t been out of braids #2 in two decades.

Boy I think the last time I was at the AG store in Chicago was 20 years ago. Two whole decades. I need to go back. Take my 8 year old daughter.

Lol you sounded like you were giving an academy award speech there 😂 number 4 is unfortunately a $200 doll if you want to get a decent one; she’s extremely popular in relation to the number of actual dolls that are in circulation. In the auctions I’ve seen them go for about $180 in so-so condition. In my life as a collector I’ve found that it’s often worth spending the extra money to get a nicer doll but have less dolls overall.

Great video! Samantha was my first doll for Christmas 1997 when I was 4 and a half. I remember I would open the catalog to her double page and sleep beside it until I got her. I love knowing how sentimental and special she is to so many.

I loved getting to see your thoughts on this! you should definitely get the Waggy pup tails outfit! I got it mostly for the jacket but the rest is growing on me. I almost got Fettuccine but I'll wait until my rewards for next month come in. I'm overall pleased with this collection from a mother's perspective, and although in some ways it isn't my style, I think all of it is super cute and well done.
