I like the idea of blight providing different builds and playstyles, but the sad reality is blight is just practically worse in every run. A damn shame this is likely Acrid's fate.

@Motofreakz i think the devs in this DLC are incompetent pretentious bundle of sticks. Randy is some dick sucker higher up who just wants money. Borderland was a mediocre loot game with terrible humor. So I hate gearbox, but to complain about a bug being fixed when everyone complains about bugs is very hilarious to me. Hopoo would of patched it out if they still were the devs. They patched out the bug where as Merc or Huntress you don't have to press buttons to get bands.

@Cap_ i mean they did it with the button skip. And this bug came from the momentum bug with SOTV. For pillar skip, it's one thing to use items to skip like vase, wax quail with speed, milky chrysalis, etc. It's another to abuse out of bounds nodes to skip. Just like how they kept potrolling, but patched button skip. Keep in mind, this tech was found out a year ago and gearbox owned the ip at the time.

new update feature, game lags when you play it well!! Past Stage 3-4 every teleporter is now bellow 30fps, when before it was stable 80 at all times Thanks gearbox!

man, i really like the slam, even if it's not as versatile as the pylon, it's very satisfying to use and it's really fun "roleplay" as a tactical nuke falling from the sky at 3000m/s smashing anything unfortunate enough to be down there, like some sort of "hulk spiderman" fusion XD. so i guess i'll trade utility for cool factor here, although the pylon still looks like a lot of fun to use for cool mobility tricks. and sorry for my english and still i THANK you so much for this video it'll assist to improve my skills with loader and I'll definelly practice and use lot's of tre strats and techiniques you showed in your video m8

Dang, would be cool if they buffed blight by giving it some sort of special effect, like it ignores shields, stops enemy healing, etc. That way it would be more of a "damage vs utility" choice, rather than one being overall just better

I just recently got Ror2 and if any character in any game ever was made specifically for me, its loader. Years of titanfall 2 and Overwatch Doomfist lead to this character. I lot of this stuff already feels very intuitive to me but this video is amazing nonetheless.

@@Cap_ Can report the same issue; followed all steps in this video including copying the depot files into steamapps/common/Risk of Rain 2, open r2modman, run the profile imported with your code (haven't added any additional mods, was just testing to see if it would start ok) and any time I click "Start modded" Steam starts updating the game to latest patch. I can launch the game by clicking the exe file without it updating, and I suppose I could just manually install all my mods but it'll suck to lose the convenience of r2modman.

Ok, I changed the Risk of Rain 2 directory in r2modman's settings to the depot folder, restarted r2 modman and that seems to have worked.
