Nice job, but sorry to say disapointed with the jointing. (I'm guessing an old hospipe) Surely allowed todry and rub up / flush/ bristle would be better. 75 year old bricklayer..

looks great , should have used a shaped bit of hardwood for the pointing instead of bucket handle

That is not a cat print it's a joke from the brick makers, you squeeze your fingers together and press into the wet brick, I have seen quite a few of them in my time

ive been interested in the thruster lately they look like an amazingly fun machine, one question i cant find much info on is how do they handle in wind? i expect its a bit hard to land in crosswinds and a fair bit of wing lifts going on when hit by gusts aloft?
@jaideld1 Жыл бұрын
Actually they are fine in cross winds ,I have one and never a problem

What is the device on the left wing that looks like a star made from sticks? (there's also a stick/pipe pointing forward)
@Kneedragon19622 жыл бұрын
I am not completely sure what it is, but a lot of competition and airshow display planes have an arrangement much like that, which is like the cross-hairs in a telescopic sight. When you pull up into the vertical, am I going straight up? When I'm doing a 4 point hesitation roll, have I snapped straight at the right angle? You can look 90 to the side and measure the sight against the actual horizon and get a really good idea. It takes a lot of the 'judgement' out of it.

Yes, from what I've read on the Shadows i would have expected a short take off....
