Nice job! It's not so easy to keep up a running commentary without talking all over the dialogue. You're also good at noticing details that refer back to the other movies. Looking forward to part 2!

NOTE: WE'RE BACK!! Once again, certain portions are muted due to NONSTOP claims, also we had one little mess-up on framing I didn't catch lol. Forgive the lateness. Get some Longbottom Leaf and enjoy this first half!

Great reaction, but I suggest you improve the framing of your video. Having the film frame covering half of your face is very bad. Also, all the empty part of the frame above your head is wasted.

I wouldn't have known you had copyright issues if you hadn't revealed that; you did an excellent job editing this so little felt lost!! I am so excited to see your reaction to The Return of the King, which is even grander and more emotional than the second installment!! You commented about the horse, Brego, and it's worth noting that Viggo Mortensen purchased the horse that played Brego and several other horses that appeared in the films and kept them for the rest of their lives.

The Elrond scene with Arwen annoys me more each time, going to have to start fast forwarding through it on my rewatches. 🙄 Movie Elrond just flat out lies to Arwen about doubt since he saw his own brother accept the same fate many years earlier and he knows exactly what will happen. Arwen knows what will happen. Aragorn knows what will happen. There is no doubt.

To me, it is THE best Christmas film ever. It's wholesome, moral, and sentimental. It's about caring for others instead of putting yourself first. Can you just imagine how republicans react to this movie? They hate giving to others and put themselves first. You want to see an authentic republican in this movie? POTTER is that man.

Loved the reaction! Can't wait for the rest of the series, glad you're watching the extended editions. Also not sure if you noticed, but before they sent Boromir over the waterfall, Aragorn took his bracers as a reminder of his promise. Some constructive criticism; the music in the outro was very loud compared to your voice, so hearing what you said got a little tricky. Might want to fine tune the audio a bit for the next one! See you there.

They planned to make more movies and Alan Tudyk And Ron Glass weren't going to be available due to other commitments. Wash's absence would have been difficult to explain which is why they killed him off. Wasn't necessary as it happened because the other movies were never made.

J.R.R. Tolkien wrote the books. "The Hobbit" was first published in 1937 and "The Lord of the Rings" books--"The Fellowship of the Ring", "The Two Towers", and "The Return of the King" were first published in the 1950s. Also, the films were shot in New Zealand. You can visit the set of The Shire there today.

Man, it was so fun to see you name each and every famous actor, one after the other... down to Jackson himself! (I kind of wonder if you cut out your reaction to Sean Bean, although it would be quite amusing that you didn't recognize the ONE actor most other reactors pick up on!) I'm really excited to see who you recognize from The Two Towers...

I'm unfamiliar with this reactor/reviewer. My first thought as this started, "oh hello Roger, I thought you were dead!" and my second, "it sounds like it's on 64 kbps, what's the matter!" - and my third, "he's joking, isn't he, feigning unawareness of the cast list" - especially since we didn't get a "Ned?" Moment in this reaction! - OK - now for the random details:- In the Bilbo's house scene, that list of foodstuffs is recycled from another book (no prizes for guessing...) Yes, Palantir, this is where the international criminal organisation disguised as a tech company got its name. In the book, it's unclear whether the attack at the Inn was carried out by the Nazgul or some hired hands (including "the squint-eyed Southerner") - also, re the book, "why is he not carrying that broken Elvish blade?" In the book it's not Arwen but another elf who does the rescuing, and the water-magic is...another matter- and also Frodo has to face the Nazgul alone. (Never name your child Glorfindel - they'll always get left out of important things!) In the book Boromir would never have heard of Aragorn - though he might have heard talk of his exploits from when he traded under yet another name. In the book Aragorn is not a reluctant King, he's really looking forward to it. The Council in the book is nothing like the one in the film - tons of exposition, none of the open racial discord. Curious editing detail - between the departure from Bree, and his dismissal outside Moria, Bill The Pony disappears and reappears more times than a Mutual Of New York sign.

Book Bilbo absolutely knew aragon.after Frodo heals he sits with Bilbo in the big room with the bonfire where the rves sing in the evening. Bilbo is on very friendly even jocular terms with THE DUNEDAIN, who of course turns out Tobe "Strider". I recommend you reread that chapter. I think it's right before The Council of Elrond.

"Did that look like Peter Jackson?" Not "look like." It WAS Peter Jackson. He makes a brief cameo in each of these three movies, and I suspect in others of his movies as well. His two little children also make cameos in each of the movies. In this one, they were the two hobbit moppets listening to Bilbo's adventure with the trolls.

That last shot here, with each member of the Fellowship coming over the crest of the hill, was in the teaser, about a year before release. Fans of the books could recognize each character (perhaps unsure which is Merry and Pippin), including Bill the Pony, as they came into view. That was when a lot of us relaxed our skepticism and thought, "Hey-this might actually not be terrible!" The book was considered "unadaptable" before these films came along.
