SAVED ME A TRIP TO THE MECHANIC!!!! My 2009 Acura TL over the years has not given me a lot of problems. From time to time I'll get different lights coming on which are so annoying. I removed my fusible link. I did not have any broken links. Cleaned the contacts with alcohol and replaced the fusible links. I started my car and all the lights disappeared. Thank you so much!!!

What if it comes on sometimes? Will it still be the fuse? Mine only turns on with its hot outside which is weird.

Use a 7 mil, and the only way you can do it with AlfaOBD2 if if your ram is older than 2018

I always remove sparkplugs when doing T belt jobs. It's easier to turn the engine. I always put a new set in. I also spin the engine again after removing the tensioner pin and check the timing marks...just in case...

These engines are interference type. If the T belt breaks engine is toast. From my experience all dual overhead cam engines are interference type. I am yet to see one that is not.

All you have to do is remove red battery cable for 30 seconds to do that.

I followed all of the above steps and it appeared I had no fuse out. The Self diagnostic head unit test showed no errors for me. After several restarts and factory resets...nothing....not a beep. It was after disconnecting the battery, then removing the multi-fuse, 15a radio and 20amp Amplifier fuses (all fine when tested). Then reinserting everything, reconnecting the battery and going through the car startup steps after a disconnected battery... holding the power for a couple seconds......I noticed that the beeping on the headunit returned. What I described are the steps I followed. I posted them to show my experience for others trying to troubleshoot. In reality, it was likely that leaving the battery disconnected allowed for a system reset and my tinkering with the fuses were unrelated. Good luck!!

Idk what I’m doing wrong on my end. I’ve followed this about 6 times and every time, It hasn’t worked. My dome lights never flash, but everything else is happening chime wise and procedure wise that’s indicating it’s successful.

ALL the connectors need to be changed from the head unit (radio) all the way to the trunk- dealers extended the warranty on this

Thank you for this, I have a rattle from what sounds like a broken piece of plastic or loose screw in the steering wheel. Going to attempt to remove the horn/airbag this afternoon so I can hopefully find what is rattling around in there.
