Hi. I have this in my cart right now. What's the length? I'm looking to use Sig Micro 3x magnifier and Bushnell TRS-25 dot. Need at least 3.25" of railspace for that combo. Thanks!

My scope mount touches for sure I couldn’t slide a cigarette paper under it I wish it didn’t but I suppose it’s still ok It doesn’t seem to hurt anything

I really like that two tone upper receiver.

Are you doing the handguard nut flush anytime soon? So we can get the handguard fit flush to the receiver and not have that weird space in between, looking to order soon

Took out the 9mm upper I bought from you to the range the day before, absolute workhorse. Used supersonics and subs and didn't have any issues, thanks Tim!

Cool stuff but I don’t like that you lose the ability to lock it in folded position. Or how with that nub on the 45 keeping it from folding completely, I feel like if you jam it in a bag and put pressure up against it something else is going to bend, break or move. All interesting tech for sure, nice to see someone making aftermarket items for the FPC cuz almost no one else does. I like the sight mount being much closer to your eye cuz the stock location limits what you can use. But the way it “floats” there worried me about it being knocked or dropped and being bent or knocked out of zero. I have a feeling when S&W refreshes this model it’s going to be a whole lot different. Do you make the mag well? Or is that a well for a Shield?

When they come back in stock are we gonna have the option to include a different hand guard like the one you have on in the video, was looking at the website and it reads only with that carbon fiber tube

Hey Tim, have you tried using black dog 22LR magazines? Been using them for my 22LR AR and they work pretty well and have a built in LRBHO.
@taccomllc885417 күн бұрын
I use black dog 10round mags. The 1522 25round mags seem to be much more reliable than the black dog 25 round mags

I've noticed some triggers have a flat shelf and others have an upward wave shelf. Even differences with oem. My manticore trigger had a pretty big wave. I filed the wave to fit. I suspect it is to allow hand fitting into different stocks.

Damn should've just bought a keltec sub 2000, but good info on the peel washer instead of crush.
@taccomllc885423 күн бұрын
The keltec doesn’t even compare
@toddm950122 күн бұрын
Only if you want to spend $300 to $500 to maybe compare. Watch Sootch00 and he has a great take on the keltec polymer innards vs the S&W, and The Pivot pcc.

The keltec isn’t in the same league
@thattexasboy7 күн бұрын
@@MegaBassfunk I have both and they are in the exact same league, although I do like the fpc better. What I meant was the after market parts he used made it look more like a sub 2000.

That is not a bolt release. It even says that in the manual for the gun

Just because they don’t call it a bolt release…..doesn’t make it so. It’s a bolt release, no matter what they call it.

I don't see the second stage recoil spring at your website?

I installed my butt stock and charging handel last night. But this video gave a unintended lesson in the function of the buffer and opposing springs, may have to go back to your web sight and give that recoil reducer a shot(pun intended).

How do I buy the solution for 24.00? Everything I see says $119
When you say mil-spec buffer, is that a standard 5.56 buffer? (My extended 9mm buffer doesn't allow that much travel beyond the LRBHO.)
@taccomllc8854Ай бұрын
The milspec carbine buffer length is 3.26”….if you have any other length, it is not a milspec length. Regardless, you can still find your total bolt travel and address reducing the felt recoil

Tim is an absolute genius when it comes to AR9’s. He was an enormous help in getting my AR9, that I use in USPSA, running absolutely flawlessly. I installed his Ultra Lite Super Feed 9mm barrel and buffer system in my Aero EPC and it is finally a joy to shoot.

To any viewers who need help getting their pcc’s running reliably and consistently, Taccom and Tim will absolutely be able to sort things out for you. Several of my friends who shoot USPSA and Steel Challenge use Tim’s 9mm barrels and they are the ones who turned me on to Taccom. I just received my new Super Feed ULW 9mm AR9 barrel and it’s a thing of beauty!! Take my word, call Tim and he will help you out.
