I love his mischievous yet gentle personality. He in universe also has good taste in Art and magic so it's definitely a draw for me. His aesthetic is also a fusion of western and eastern culture which I'm a big fan of and emulated in my own art growing up. I always see Eriol as inheriting alot of major parts of CLOW Reed. Though filler, I love how his playfulness was shown during the Alice in Wonderland episode. Him saying Sakura is REALLY dense spoke to me. And his team up with Yamazaki is chefs kiss they were just the perfect duo OMG 😂😂😂

I'd really like to see the apathy again before the show ends. Ideally, make a group of characters who doesn't have Ruby in it encounter them. Maybe also see them used more strategically by Salem.

I know this isnt a big thing but I really think they could have made the apathy a lot scarier if they had smoke/fog they produce when in large numbers a scene with a bunch of glowing eyes in a fog thick enough you could just see a slight silhouette of a horde of lanky almost disfigured looking bodies would have been good for that slight horror theme this mini arc had going on.

Never seen RWBY, only Hbomberguy's. And wow, Vol 6 animation looks really good

After watching some of Ice Queendom, I think Monty is the only person who can make RWBY what it's truly meant to be. I think he could've used some help to make the story better, but I think he's the only one who knew what he wanted the series to be. Just like Tolkien with Lord of The Rings(I think the only reason the movies are so good is because the world was already so built up and Peter Jackson REALLY loved the series), Hiromu Arakawa with Fullmetal Alchemist, Guillermo Del Toro Pacific Rim, or Harry Potter with J.K. Rolling. Some other people might have been able to make something similar but only these authors could've ever written these stories and ESPECIALLY these worlds.

i loved the monty era of rwby up to volume 3 because weven tho monty was dead for most of that, they still kinda kept his style. then the first episode of season 4. i was heartbroken. ruby was no longer super cute. yang had no arm and was kinda depressed, which is very un-yang. blake was, blake, and weiss was away from ruby which i cannot see. i stopped. edit: your friends are basically me. i'm like that. i talk about rwby and other things way too much and my friends have no clue so they give up and watch rwby lol

Since you love horror, maybe we will find out about V9. I know the trailer shows some kind of wonderland scheme, maybe, just maybe, there will be a scene

The qrow side plot was the one thing I hated about the apathy arc. We're supposed to be dissapointed in qrow and see it as his fault that he's inebriated but the dude is in constant contact with a grim that absorbs your will to go on. The dude is being blamed for the grims ability. It's like blaming the others for being depressed. It's stupid. He basically got counterpicked by something that hits his weakness and I hate it.

Honestly I think since Volume 5, RWBY has been improving again. It's not amazing, but man there are some moments. Some moments where I go *dang, that was really flipping cool*

I got to this video from recommendations after subbing to your friend critter and I loved her concepts and I found you from her podcast talk that had you and twin in it. I love your discussion on why you were drained because I understand completely. I wish they put more time and effort into the seasons that could have been what was promised. Action packed, lore, character development

I keep watching because if Monty. Supporting the world he created and seeing how far it can go. Hoping it doesn't get destroyed by the people now behind it and wishing he could see how big it got for how small it was.
