Danke für Eure schönen Bilder und Eindrücke. Solltet Ihr noch etwas Zeit haben, möchte ich Euch ein Besuch in Eltville empfehlen. Die kleine, romantische Stadt Eltville ist wenige km rheinabwärts von Wiesbaden entfernt. Viele Fachwerkhäuser, schmale Gassen und im Krieg nicht zerstört. Im frühen Sommer blühen unendlich viele Rosen überall. In Eltville beginnt der Rheingau. Ich vermute, daß es die Fähre zwischen Mainz und Eltville nicht mehr gibt. Es war vor über 30 Jahren ein wunderbares Erlebnis mit einer kleinen Fähre über den Rhein zu fahren. Die herzlichsten Grüße aus der Ferne

Schöne Bilder. In Wiesbaden gibt es eine Besonderheit im Schloßpark in Biebrich: Halsbandsittiche. Nach dem Krieg soll es am Schloß eine Vogelausstellung gegeben haben, bei der die Vögel flohen und sich auswilderten. Biebrich liegt am Beginn des Rheingaus und hat ein besonders mildes Klima.. Es seien zur Zeit über 500 Sittiche.. Ich wünsche Euch noch viele Wunder Von Herzen Liebe Grüße
