What happened to all the removed rock? Where is it?

That’s anybody’s guess. There is a theory some of the rock may have been used to create an artificial reservoir nearby.

Hi friend, beautiful video. Checked out your channel and it's really interesting. Loved the piece by Helena Blavatsky in the end! Whoever's voice it is they did a great job! Just one correction it' s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum and not Prince of Wales. You should make a video about why you love this topic that you've based your channel on, would love to know more about it!

Can you please elaborate? Most historians and architectural historians agree on the sequence of development of the Ellora cave temples, and the evidence for earlier Buddhist temples being converted to Hindu and Jain temples is overwhelming.

If not for the invaders bharath wouldhave been a marvalous place and rich and prosporous. Europe in the name of finding india went to america and africa and named them as indians! But in india we are taught we were backwards in everything before the british and the babaric mughals. Such a sad state. Our ancestors excelled in many things but the current workmenship is not even 1% of the ancient times. So many scientific discoveries burnt by invaders so many lost knowledge when nalandha was burnt by invaders.

The destruction of Nalanda university is a cultural tragedy that is just not known enough as it deserves in the West, possibly on a par with the loss of the great Library of Alexandria or the burning of Aztec and Maya codices.

Never seen a dumber comment before. Prob a ragebait. Hindu term originated in persia not mughals. Greeks called this place india, hence the book by megasthenes indica. Persians turned that into hind. And stop acting like buddhism is some seperate religion. Its just another sect of dharmic religions. Cry all you want you'll never escape the truth

Yeah right! Buddha tried to ask his followers to eschew ego in vain. Actually everything in India was built by Buddhists and even Hinduism is a very shoddy copy of the golden principles of Buddhism. Does this make you happy? 😅😂

How come all the depictions of Buddha show him to have knots in his hair like to depict an African? All art of antiquity show the African in this way so as to be able to make that clear. Because only the African and her people have this unique hair. All other races have straightened hair in comparison. In fact no other being on the planet has the AFRO hair. Monkeys. Dogs. Any animal you can name have straightened hair..non have AFRO.

The Buddha was a historical figure who lived in the 7th Century BCE, an Indian prince by the name of Siddharta Gautama. There is no evidence and indeed it is the first time I even hear the possibility being mentioned of the Buddha being of African descent. In any case, I doubt curly hair are an exclusive prerogative of people of African descent. This style of representation may also have symbolic reasons. Early portraits of the Buddha from the Gandhara region were heavily influenced by Greek Hellenistic art.
