I look at that lift bridge and I see a parking lot…or a bus depot.
@SleeTheSlothАй бұрын
Not sure if you are talking the single track lift up bridge between level 1 and 2 or the double track lift up section on the main lines? But here is a link to see what became of the double track lift up section: sean9953.wixsite.com/valvalleymr/copy-of-blank-town-template-2 Then here is a link to the single track bridge. Please note that the Town of Wilson and Sicamous have undergone a big rebuild this past year. The web page is not up to date on that. : sean9953.wixsite.com/valvalleymr/copy-of-blank-town-template-7

Like the video on how many different frames Bachmann made for the same engines .There is actually one more and it is like the one split with the posts but they are filled in solid except for the hole for the driveshaft and that is the heaviest of all.Great for the wiring job and a little milling on the tank area for a speaker . This one will drag a Kato Mac 90 around in a tug of war easily.

I just purchased an old Walthers #933-2613 which looks to be the same as you are using. However the wiring instructions were not included. Do you have a video showing how the wiring is completed? I have tried to find the incrustations online but to no avail. Hope you can help.

Sean, how did you cut that curve for the grade crossing so smoothly? Is it a special knife to use? That's my biggest hurdle haha
@SleeTheSloth5 ай бұрын
The trick is a vary sharp knife. I like the cheap disposable ones, that have one long blade in them. As the blade gets dull, you break of a section at the scored line on the blade. I think I used a large coffee can to draw the radius of the curve. Then I used the same can's edge as a edge to keep the knife true as I cut it.

@SleeTheSloth Жыл бұрын
Took 1 year to build him. and $4,000 + I did learn a lot of new things. The best part was back when we use to take him places. Now my health is not so good. Poor R2 has not been out and abought in 4 years I think. :( But I do talk to him every day. He sits close to my computer desk in my shop.

Depending on the model, I may paint the inside flat black or line it with black construction paper.

what sort of glue did you use to glue it down?
@SleeTheSloth Жыл бұрын
I used Elmer's white glue and wood glue in different scenes on the layout. Both work well. On a side note if you use tan or brown cooler wood glue on your ballast it will darken it. That works well for older ballast. Then white glue for newer ballast.
