The fundamental phenomenon of dilation explains galaxy rotation curves/dark matter. Mass that is dilated is smeared through spacetime relative to an outside observer. It's the phenomenon behind the phrase "mass becomes infinite at the speed of light". A 2 axis graph illustrates its squared nature, dilation increases at an exponential rate the closer you get to the speed of light. A time dilation graph illustrates the same phenomenon, it's not just time that gets dilated. Dilation will occur wherever there is an astronomical quantity of mass because high mass means high momentum. This includes the centers of very high mass stars and the overwhelming majority of galaxy centers. The mass at the center of our own galaxy is dilated. This means that there is no valid XYZ coordinate we can attribute to it, you can't point your finger at something that is smeared through spacetime. More precisely, everywhere you point is equally valid. In other words that mass is all around us. Dilation does not occur in galaxies with low mass centers because they do not have enough mass to achieve relativistic velocities. It has been confirmed in 6 very low mass galaxies including NGC 1052-DF2 and DF4 to have no dark matter, in other words they have normal rotation rates. All binary stars have normal rotation rates for the same reason.

Good video, pretty informative. But I would recommend to remove the subtitles. The video isn't a "short" so it most likely will be watched with sound on. It may be better to add a script for youtube subtitles (that can be enabled), because in some cases auto-generated subs can be wrog.

There is nothing beyond the observable universe but more universe to observe. The BB was not an explosion/expansion of space. It was an acceleration in time event. F=ma. Neither mass nor Acceleration is defined. Infinite mass/Infinite acceleration. And as Syndrome would say, if you have everything, then you have nothing. E=mc. Acceleration is now limited. But mass is not. That creates an infinite universe accelerated in time. Now the fun part. Mass is infinite which means its 0. Which means all you have is acceleration. As Einstein said. Motion is absolute. All there is is motion. Everything is an emergent property of acceleration. And acceleration is not a tangible thing. You cant touch it or taste it. But you can messure it. The object went from A to B creating distance. Distance is length which is a property of space/mass. You now have space and time (number of footsteps) arising out of acceleration. The objects themselves? E=mc. The conversion of radiant energy to atomic and back via Acceleration. So E=c or Energy equals Acceleration limited to the speed of light. See now why every single 'genius' who stuck there heads out of the 'mass attraction' rabbit hole promptly went back in. If mass is not a force then it doesn't exist. All there is is acceleration. And pray tell. What is acceleration? Newton's law of motion, F=ma, force comes from Acceleration of the mass. Where does Acceleration come from then. Back into the rabbit hole. Gravitational attraction. Einstein. Motion is absolute. All there is is acceleration. Where did acceleration come from then? Back into the rabbit hole. Mass (which Galileo clearly showed is not a force) magically warps space creating acceleration. Nobody can explain what acceleration in that they dont know where acceleration comes from. There has to be an outside force that created the initial acceleration event and placed the universe in an accelerated state. F=ma. An infinite, unbounded universe, everything and yet nothing. E=mc. Infinite mass. Finite acceleration. Infinite = nothing at all and at the same time, everything. There is nothing outside the observable universe and yet there is everything.

Wait... wait... You can't use the temperature of the "Upper atmosphere" as an indicator of how cold the planet is. Our atmosphere technically extends past the moon. Which is pretty much just space at that point. But again, technically atmosphere. Space is ALMOST absolute 0. (the coldest temperature you can achieve) It's silly to call this the temperature of the earth... Same with Venus.
@ScienceBedtimestories

Surface temperatures are crucial, but studying the upper atmosphere helps paint a fuller picture of a planet's climate. It's all part of understanding Venus' extreme conditions. Thanks for your input!

@@ScienceBedtimestories No one is saying the atmosphere isn't worth studying. It certainly is facinating. However the "upper atmospher" isn't an indicator of a planets temperature.
