Your comment shows deep faith, but it’s important to remember Jesus’ words: *"Do not judge, or you too will be judged" (Matt. 7:1).* God is truly holy and knows each of us, but the Bible teaches us to speak with love and respect (*1 Peter 3:15*). Instead of condemnation, it’s better to inspire one another to follow God’s path through humility and compassion.

The body is the body, the soul is your intelligence/ mind, only the spirit returns. A soul that sins shall die. When God breathe into man, the body becomes a living soul meaning the brain/ mind starts functioning and your body starts functioning. When we die our body and soul die. We are not immortal. God only gives immortality during resurrection. When you die you know nothing, like sleeping. You have no knowledge of time even if it is 1000 years or more. All human spirits returns and is kept at place waiting for tye day of ressurection. Be careful, the devils can use a deceased to do their work. That's why, never try to talk to our deceased. It's a smoke screen. No to spiritual mediums or mediators.

This is an interesting perspective on the nature of the soul, spirit, and body. I agree that it’s important to approach any form of communication with the otherworld cautiously. Your point about the spirit returning to God and the soul being connected to the mind is truly thought-provoking. The belief that everything will be revealed on the day of resurrection brings hope. I’d be interested to hear more about how you came to these beliefs and how they influence your daily life.
@jamespch889
@jamespch889 2 күн бұрын
@DarkSide-Unknown you see when people think that the soul doesn't die upon death, it is to say that they are immortal. But the bible speaks of man as a mortal being. Only during the resurrection God gives or awards immortality. To believe that man is immortal would invite people to pray to the dead, thinking that they are somewhere in heaven or hell and anywhere in this world, and that they can pray and talk to them to grant them favours. The bibles explicitly oppose talking or praying to the dead. Instead we should be praying to God for the living. Praying to the dead has no impact whatsoever. Their book of deeds are closed until judgement. God cannot be bride. There is no second chance after death.

Could the people not moving higher be doing while waiting for their partners or loved ones? Or do it hoping to help the living. It could be out of love not lack of light. I've told people I will help them if I can after I go. But, I've also asked God to make me a guardian angel on the other side so I can help the living after all my people have moved on.
@DarkSide-Unknown
@DarkSide-Unknown 5 күн бұрын
The idea of helping the living or supporting loved ones from beyond speaks to the depth of human (and perhaps spiritual) compassion. Asking to be a guardian angel is such a heartfelt request-it reflects a profound sense of responsibility and care for others, even beyond this life. It’s comforting to think that love and kindness can transcend realms, shaping how we might imagine the afterlife and our continued connections to those still here. ❤️

@patricksampson5680 6 күн бұрын
This is not true. This is not what the Catholic Church teaches about purgatory predatory is a temporary punishment, not something permanent or eternal. It’s also not a mini hell and the greatest suffering comes from the regret that we were not better and the love and the desire to be near God that we now have for him.
@DarkSide-Unknown
@DarkSide-Unknown 6 күн бұрын
You're absolutely correct that purgatory, according to Catholic teaching, is a temporary state rather than something eternal. It’s a place of purification where souls prepare to be fully united with God, motivated by love and a deep desire for that closeness. The greatest suffering comes from being separated from God and the realization of missed opportunities to grow in holiness, rather than physical torment or punishment. I appreciate you sharing this perspective-it's an important clarification!

For those interested in interconnections and cross references, Jesus says "In my Father's house, there are many mansions" (John 14: 2). What does one make this?
@DarkSide-Unknown
@DarkSide-Unknown 9 күн бұрын
The verse from (John 14:2) often sparks deep reflection and diverse interpretations. Some see it as a metaphor for the vastness and inclusivity of the afterlife or spiritual realms, aligning with the idea of infinite possibilities beyond this life. Others interpret it symbolically, suggesting that each "mansion" represents a unique state of being or relationship with the divine.

Yet another story out of the hundreds doing the round, textual, audio and visual. Shakespeare on death: "The undiscovered country from whose bourn No traveller returns." (Hamlet) There have been innumerable stories, descriptions, reports throughout the ages. None of these have ever been authenticated. These 'experiences' remain subjective. Feel free to believe them. I believe what Shakespeare says. Death is the undiscovered country from which no one has ever returned. There are certain things that mankind is not to know.
@DarkSide-Unknown
@DarkSide-Unknown 10 күн бұрын
An eloquent perspective! Shakespeare’s words indeed capture the profound mystery of death. The idea that it is "the undiscovered country" resonates with those who value its unknowability. While subjective experiences like near-death accounts remain unverified, they reflect humanity's enduring curiosity about what lies beyond. Perhaps these stories are less about proving what happens after death and more about exploring the emotions and questions it evokes. Believing, or not believing, is deeply personal-and that’s what makes this topic so timelessly intriguing.

Something I've thought about a lot is that in all religions there are stories about god(s) who want good for people. But what if it's the opposite, that god likes to see suffering? In the animal kingdom there are many examples of horrific suffering. So what is the reason for creating such a world if it's not because someone (God?) enjoys seeing suffering? Could this indicate that god is someone other than what religions teach about? Maybe an extraterrestrial race that researches suffering and the creatures' reaction to it?
@DarkSide-Unknown
