Try double split knots, i never advise anyone to use single knots for ventilation, it is a recipe for disaster.

I don’t get the first question so I cant really answer that but there is like a mini kitchen in the 100 level hostel. However the room I stayed in my 100level, the kitchen didn’t have a window so we were cooking outside

As a fresher, hostel is first come first serve, freshers that don’t stay in Amazon are people that resume when Amazon is filled up

I don’t even know what hostel to recommend sef but access, Dora, oredora and ph have private toilets so that maybe the best for you if sharing of toilet with a lot of people is a deal breaker
