hey, i'm thinking of doing an exchangne program at waseda as well, and I'm currently looking at the housing options. which option did you end up doing? right now I'm worried about the availability of the dorms as well as cost. if you happen to know, do you know how competitive housing for exchange students is?

I ended up getting into the dorms, and at the time accommodations were drawn out by a lottery system. I believe they were based on the cost of living/rent you were most able to afford, but I'd strongly urge you to double check this with Waseda. Students who weren't able to secure a dorm spot had a pretty extensive pool of housing options depending on what they were comfortable with. Hope that helps.

When is the exams at Waseda in the fall semester? As I can see they have 3 semesters and if I only choose subjects in the fall, will I then be able to finish school in December?
