"Since the songs are from the 50's they are all about guys in their 40's wanting to have sex with teenagers."

I don't have a lot of music pieces that I have produced but perhaps you might enjoy the stories I have done on the Whisky A Go Go in L.A., Smokey Robinson, and Leslie West, the legendary guitarist from Mountain. I welcome your feedback -- www.youtube.com/@richbornstein6484. And thank you for sharing this bit. Can;t wait to see what else is on your channel.

I was just past toddler status when I was able to play the 45. Which I still have. Brings back memories of playing this on my Victrola.

Wes Voight is really James Voight, brother of actor Jon Voight. Wes Voight then became Chip Taylor and composed "Wild Thing".

Got curious about the other songs of this one hit wonder.... It's of course not of the same quality level than their Blue Moon, but nevertheless interesting to "investigate" and "explore"... How comes a Belgian who wasn't even born when this came out is the first to leave a comment after this has been uploaded.... 11 years ago ??? Come on folks, 6,2 K visits, and no one has to say at least something positive, neutral or negative ? Even silly kittens and politicians get at least 729 comments from the 32 rhumbs....

I’m a 75 year old white guy who never even heard of most of the R&B until I was over 30, except for a few pieces that leaked over into the old “Top 40” charts somehow. Still, there’s nothing I like more than the completely raw stuff! Why?

School days are over Holidays are here I won’t see my baby For almost half a year No holding hands in break time Kissin’ after school is over Oh, how I miss her so Take special care of my baby See that’s no harm comes to her I really love her, honest I do So please take special care of her Wishing times are here again I can wish her near Dream times are here again I can dream her near And holing hands in break time Kissin’ after school is over Oh, how I miss her so Take special care of my baby See that’s no harm comes to her I really love her, honest I do So please take special care of her Take special care, take special c-a-r-e
