The problem was never science. It was always money. Not as in, "can we afford it?" - we have all the renewable tech for 80% of the solution now - but as in, "will oil and gas give up their money?" Amazingly, in 1988 not one mention of renewable energy - the only thing they got wrong was the coupling of energy to CO2.

Wow the global warming thing was quite prescient. 1.5c-4.5c in 30-50 years, so we're 24 years in and passing 450ppm and 2.3C up and going exponential. Man look at all the guys in speedos at the beach, man the hot teen boy in the blue speedo. Fucking A. If I could go back to the 8p's I would go down to the beach and hang out with all the hot boys in the speedos. Guys are so insecure nowadays, it's sucks.

Lol, look at how proffesional all the people on the train are. I remember back in this time, it was a different time, people were far more professional and put together. They were called yuppies for a reason, young urban professionals. This is kind of what Murphey Brown is about, or Law and Order. I remember my dad going to the hospital in his old Porsche 356 with his briefcase in the back. We don't have professionalsf like this anymore, and now it's all about work from home with the internet. Sheesh, I think Beyond 2000 is a more relevant show nowadays then when it first premiered.

Hi, it's me from the future. We didn't do shit to fix the climate and a large group of morons have convinced themselves that the problem doesn't exist. I say this as an unprecedented hurricane is scouring the Bahamas clean of humanity.

How accurate is this in 2024? Not very. Sure, "let's clean up our act" I don't have any issue with that at all. The WORST, greenhouse gas is H2O...So, how do we "fix" that issue?

I met the lovely Amanda Keller last night with my pug woofy. As I was a teen-ager and a tech nerd and mad scientist, she was my Cindy Crawford poster. I am extremely happy I was able to tell her that she and the others in this show inspired my to do tech engineering in all Avenues. I will just sit back, enjoy and compare then and the predictions to that today
