Absolutely admire the reader. I have tried to read the book many times but kept stopping as it is too thick and some French, Russian names. Listening to this, I am challenging to overcome my difficulties

Congrats to me! I finished Crime and Punishment and now War and Peace back to back. I have learned being named Natasha in a Russian novel is bad luck and trouble.

Artistry beyond compare. The genious of the author is complimented by the honest compassionate emotion of the narrator. Finest work I've ever experenced.

Begin. Chapter 1. Anna Pavlovina Chapter 2. Pregnant Princess Elaine (Prince Vasily's daughter), Pierre- Prince Andrew's close friend and ideological opposite, a pacifist. Chapter 3. The Viscount, the sissy Prince (Elaine's brother) and the story Napoleon's failed assasin. Chapter 4: The beautiful Princess's husband Andrew Chapter 5. Chapter 6: A heated discussion of war/peace. Prince Andrew will go to war to get away from his life (wife). [Alright, im hooked @1:00:00] Chapter 7: Prince Andrew hates his wife.and she doesnt seem to understand why. Chapter 8: Marriage has killed Prince Andrews's soul, kills the spirit of all men. Chapter 9: Pierre visits Anatole, and a bear cub named Bruin. [@1:28:35] Chapter 10: Prince Vasily keeps his word to the old family friend, a poor princess, who begged he transfer her only son to Guard, from soldier.
