It is because of people like you that capture this very rare footage that otherwise could be lost to history. I thank you for preserving and educating our youngsters that maybe the modern ways are only for the benefit of commercialism and making money for people they will never meet. Perhaps going back to our roots is really cool after all. Just maybe

I had a dance partner when I was 13 and it was about the most fun I ever had..we used to go to the youth center and dance all the time. I even remember his name. Wow, I really miss dancing. But to go to a dance place costs a fortune!!!!

Don't you just this?? The relationship between men and women was SIMPLE. And it was simply understood. That is why they are happy even with a BIG WW2 going on. Modern society has complicated so much by turning everything good on its head....The 1940s great music, great fashion, real men and happy women!!

My uncle-in-law had lost his first wife. At his 50th high school reunion he reconnected with his his school sweetheart and married her. At their reception he pulled me onto the floor to dance the Lindy with him. I was in my 20s. He was such a good dancer he made me look like I knew what I was doing. good memories. Will never forget.
