Whilst I agree with your comments, I just spoon in some instant coffee and add a large teaspoon of ghee. No fancy heating on a stovetop and blending, just keep it simple and it works for me.

This is such a good recipe. I tried it multiple times. Turns out delicious every time! I prefer to blanch the spinach leaves before blending. And I add moong dal instead of Masood dal

Didn’t sha said 1 cup of sorhgum and two cups of water little by little. I added 1 cup of flour, 1 of water and came out soft, just at the beginning.

Made the roties in this way. It came very good. I didn't use dry flour, used light oil instead. Ragi doesn't have vitamin D (or Vitamin B12 as some others claim).
