If you want a real challenge at Ivanhoe Park, try out the Esker Trail. It has a great lookout point and wonderful scenery. It can be travelled by bicycle too. The entrance to this trail is just before the entrance to the park, so can be hiked without paying any park fees.

We've done the lacloche silhouette trail twice so far, its absolutely worth doing if you enjoy backpacking and have the ability to do it. It's tough physically but if you take your time it's pretty great. If you've done the Crack trail you've gotten a pretty good sample of what the full loop is about.
