It would be a lovely evening. I come from a German background as well, and we used to go to the German church. My mom does the same as you she sits in her apartment in the old folks home she is 88 and she has had a very rough life and she prays her daily mass and her rosary and her many prayers and she knit and makes gifts for people all day And then she goes down for dinner. I like to create my own recipes, and my husband tells me what a wonderful cook I am and I’d like to thank you for teaching me a lot of wonderful recipes big hugs from Judith in Canada.🌹🥰

Happy Birthday Oma! You remind me so much of my Oma. She made all the same foods. I mad your Goulash last night and it was wonderful! She was from Hodschag, Hungary and came to the US in 1951 after the war. Your accent is similar to hers, and when I watch your videos, I almost feel like I'm hearing her. Love to you!

Thank you, dear Miss Oma. This is how my Czechoslovakian grandmother made them, except for the V-8 juice. 🙂 She would also sometimes toss in a smoked meat bone she got from the butcher shop. I make this recipe now in her honor. Koszonom!
