Woooh cool thanks so much, great video thanks, I wondered how you were going to do it, nailed it, are you going to Waikawau trail ride this weekend ?
@AllanMoorhouse3 күн бұрын
Thanks man. Originally I'd planned on going but the forecast for Sunday wasn't looking too good and I didn't feel like driving 4.5 hours to get rained on, instead I went to the Riverhead Twilight ride this evening which was awesome although it's now going to take all weekend to recover from. I think one of my brothers is still planning on going so I'll try to get him to record it. At this stage I'm planning on doing the Mighty Mokau ride and I'm going to try making it to NZSS round 2 in Cambridge.

@@brettdotcom3107 Yeah we'll definitely have to catch up once your back riding, how long does the doc reckon it'll take? -I know from my experience it was around 1.5-2 months and then maybe an additional 2 weeks strength building and I was back riding, albeit slowly (never broken anything, but I've had 3 surgeries in 2 years for bone related issues in one leg/foot). If you want to stay in touch a bit easier just find me on Facebook, I'm pretty easy to find.

Hey bro i was wondering what app you use to edit your videos or how you post them because mine always go blurry when i post them
@AllanMoorhouse6 ай бұрын
@@Karnpaterson I use Davinci Resolve for editing and we record, edit and upload in 4K. When you upload videos to YT it "renders" them, which compresses the vid even further so you'll always lose some quality. Even my videos the originals look better on my own PC than they do on YT. At 4K the loss in quality isn't as noticeable as it is at 1080p. All of my vids from 2022 - March 2023 are 1080p and YT compressed the hell out of them.

That is really excellent!What map you running?
@AllanMoorhouse7 ай бұрын
A custom map that I've worked on. Fueling I add +1 at 5% throttle and then at 20% throttle I start reducing fuel out to 100% throttle. Ignition starts at +1 @ 5% throttle and then +3 at 15% and then slowly reduce it out towards 100% throttle. Makes the bike super responsive.

Quick tip, don’t avoid the ruts & burms, use them. I used to do the same I hated them & avoided them, but they are your friends. Also drop down a gear your lugging but the bike doesn’t seem to like it and it will make your traction worse. Best of luck 👍

@AllanMoorhouse8 ай бұрын
On that bike the fire extinguisher mount is just screwed to the fender and some velco is used to stop it flying off. On our other bikes we just drill holes and zip tie them.

How did you combine with video? I didn't know this was possible but now I want to do it!!
@AllanMoorhouse8 ай бұрын
So to do it, I ran a screen recording of the GYTR app on my phone and left it sitting in my Camelbak. To edit it what I would do for instance with the RPM gauge: -Add in the screen recording of the GYTR app over the ride footage and sync it up -Crop down the screen recording to just show the RPM gauge -Alpha key out the black background to make it transparent -Repeat the same process for the other gauges By the time you've added in all of the different stats it can become quite slow to edit and requires a pretty beefy computer.
