I cannot believe how she swatted at the horse 😡.

I couldn't believe it either! It was shocking and disrespectful to both the horse and the guards.

the soldiers or officers adjusting varius uniforms are from the same regiment, I loved that the guards did salute any veterans back by raising their swords and replacing them to the correct position. It is subtle but definite

Excellent observation! It's those small details that really elevate the ceremony. Shows a true understanding of military protocol, don't you think?

the elderly couple had a lot of medals and were probably hero's in their day

You don't salute when not in uniform.
@karentinsley857611 күн бұрын
My Dad said the same (Royal Anglians) and then you are saluting the badge, so if the officer is not wearing his cap you do not salute him either. It isn't very often it happens
