Hi, the video was great. Could you make an interesting Dimir or Golgari deck? I used to play Golgari, but I'm wondering if I should upgrade it or if there's a cool Dimir deck out there. Maybe a Dimir deck that uses rats?

This was close to my first Bloom build. Blink needed an upgrade and we found some goodies. Bats unreal in this. I like the Viper add. Didn’t consider it till now. Good idea. Carrot cake seems it could be a good spot removal split. 2 and 2 split maybe. Love the content.

At around 1:02 on the opponents attack, a good option would've been to use the case to animate the incubator token, creating a 6/6 that could block and kill shelly, plus you could've used it to swing back with life link the following turn.
@The_Cloudpost
@The_Cloudpost 18 күн бұрын
That is a nice cheeky play mate! Shelly is deathtouch so we wouldn't be able to crack back, but it would've been a nice ambush viper. 💙

25:04 The whole point of Norn Inquisitor is that animating Phyrexian token via Glyph / Case of the Finched Falcon KEEPS +1/+1 counters in place and spares you the tempo loss of paying 2 to animate it. Yet you guys keep refusing to target Incubators with the Glyph again and again 😹

Hey Ak, we do apologize for any missed upside with the deck. We had just picked the list up to bring it here to the community, so we had no prior testing, nor had we seen any other players using it left and must've not though about the interactions with the incubator tokens. As always, thank you for helping us get better, and thank you for watching! 💙 - Jake, The Cloudpost

Good video, guys. I have always loved Golgari and I've been running a similar brew with some differences: no Trespasser or Preacher, 1 less duress, replace Cut Down with Disfigure (works surprisingly well for allowing your Mosswoods to trade into bigger stuff), only 1 Frillback, 25 lands, adding several Sentinel of the Nameless City and 2 Gix (crazy with Glissa), with 2 Virtue of Persistence and 3 Hostile Negotiators. In general I feel I don't have enough mana in most games, so I think 26 land is probably correct. So many possible tweaks to this deck, will we ever get a definitive "This is the best version!" ? I'm excited to try out your version and see how it fares - although I think I'm gonna stick with disfigure over cut down.

I swear I could watch more magic videos if the gruul players weren't always so dumb. Really cool midrange strategy. I love how it starts at such a low part of the curve. I bet Graveyard Trespassers will play a whole lot better than the Lilianas. Between the discarding making graveyard targets and fouling up curve outs, Trespasser is going to be hitting for 4-5-6 constantly. I respect the low curve, but if you want to take a bit fewer vegetables, one Cruelty of Gix might really tie the room together.
@The_Cloudpost
@The_Cloudpost Ай бұрын
I think You're onto something with graveyard trespasser, its already back breaking enough that they have limited cards in hand so its ward cost could be too much sometimes! Great idea! also not a bad call for Cruelty, we may have to try it out.
