My family is Chalifoux, which was changed from Calihoo. My grandpas grandmother's father from Xavier St. Arneau who I believe was the grandson of chief Michel Calihoo.. I might have added a generation by accident, the family tree is confusing lol. Hello to all Calihoos and Chalifouxs.

@@samanthamonaghan7579Baha, the family shrub. I've learned so much since I made this comment! I was wrong! Chalifoux didn't come from the name Callihoo, Chalifoux came from around New France changed from the name Richard around 1730, not sure why. Our grandfathers were fur trappers from the north west company, and made there way West to Alberta. Also, our grandmother Mary Jane St. Arnaud was the great-granddaughter of Chief Michel Callihoo. Her grandmother was Helene Callihoo.
