i stared right at that spot, didn't even notice the window was a path. I told myself I would only look up how to get back to Mystery Lake after I figured it out, however I took a very long path around 5 IRL days later through Coastal Highway O.o

I came in PV during foggy weather and had forgotten my bedroll in winding river. I walked in front of that tree 3 times and couldn't find that cave!! I had even made an arrow in sticks near the bridge with the exact direction I came from and still couldn't find it! This video saved my run (my previous run also went to hell after I forgot my bedroll somewhere...)

i love this background!

As a fan of werewolves and the concept of thropes in general (people who morph into animals), I can honestly say that I love Bigby as a character. He really comes off as a guy trying to do better than just be "the Big Bad Wolf" from the stories. Even when you play him as a jerk, there are moments when you see a glimpse at his remorse or internal struggle. I just love the concept of someone trying to fight their inner nature and rising above. Much like Paarthurnax said in Skyrim. Anyways, I love this game and the music. It really brings in the atmosphere and sometimes expands on it. This menu theme, along with the animation loop, go hand-in-hand. I also love the touch of his eyes changing to yellow when in the shade. It really adds to the experience.

Masterpiece Edition literally feels like they did it half assed with Substance Painter presets all over the place. That said, I do hope it gets Cyan thinking about a realRiven or getting back on the wagon to finish Firmament. Also that stock door opening/closing sound. Come on.

Really has that mysterious but urban dark fantasy vibe to it.

My first successful playthrough (currently ongoing), I spawned in Pleasant Valley. It took me 50 days to discover the route up to the coal mine, and into Coastal Highway. I've since made CH my *main* base, with a couple regional outposts in ML, TM and of course PV. In that span of time, I have mapped out (just about) every single corner of Pleasant Valley, yet TO THIS DAY, have not found the connection TO Mystery Lake. That will change today! Haha. Day 180. Thank you for this video!

The original realMyst looks worse than the original Myst! Masterpiece Edition is the way to go if you want a more modern experience in my opinion. I still think the original is the best version, by far.
