Just found out the other day that M. Bison was supposed to be Balrog and it was originally M. Tyson but Mike wouldnt let the game use his name. So Vega and Balrog and M. Bison all switched names around. When i was a kid me and my buddies used to argue over what the M stood for in M. Bison😂 was it Major Bison Mister Bison Master Bison This whole time it was just fn Mike Its just regular ole Mike Bison the main boss of the game😂

Here in Botswana we used to get both the Western versions and the Japanese Versions. Used to confuse me until I came across a Gaming magazine that explained it. Turns out Balrog was the initial M. Bison a play on M.Tyson as Tyson had been approached over naming rights the deal fell through they couldn't risk lawsuits so they changed names. Have always been sceptical of this story considering when Tyson became dominant and when SF was released but it looks like that's the story ..so yes it's happened pretty often.

@@llusio58 Add only 1 credit at first and push the key for 2P. Once you're in character selection you can add more credits. Your plane will be in grey rather than red, but you still have to use 2P controls.

I remember the first time I discovered the cheat to enable 99 credits on the SEGA version. Back then we don't have internet, no guide, nothing. It was pure luck when I mashed the buttons to exit game option, and boy how happy I was.
