A beautiful tragic love story between Clark and Lana. Growing up watching Superman in the 90’s and movies of Superman I got tired of watching Clark and Lois story so many remakes of it. For the 1st time watching Smallville when it 1st aired Clark and Lana’s story is beautiful yet tragic in the show😭😭😭

I understand ppl loved Clana, but it wasn't meant to be. It was neccessary for the series to develop this story bc they were focusing on his teen years, but Clark was meant for Lois. ❤❤

I wish the camera angles were better. After Elizabeth Taylor stepped on stage, it looked like Diana was hanging on Michael. Then she stood in the middle between Elizabeth and Michael. Diana was definitely making her presence known.

They were undeniably soulmates in Smallville. The truth of the matter is in this show Clark didn't get to end up with his true love. Lois was always second fiddle to Lana, the evidence is all throughout the show for this no matter what Clois fans might think or say, the facts speak for themselves. Clark and Lana loved each other more than anything and their love never really dies either. I understand not every show has the the perfect happy ending, but I think it's perhaps Smallville itself that might have the greatest tragedy to have ever been written when it comes to the tale of two lovers that were meant to be together but were ripped apart. One thing that might bring some peace to Clana fans, at least it did for me a little bit. Is that the last 3 seasons of smallville were not produced by the original creators of the show, in a certain sense they're almost not even cannon. Had the original producers Al and Miles stayed at the helm it's possible a Clana endgame could have been in the cards. So I just like to think of it like that. S8,9 and 10, especially 9 and 10, really felt like it's own thing, and for all intents and purposes was a different show that just so happened to have the same name and some of the same actors.

@@mandyrobbins2160 Sure, in Smallville she behaved much more like a big sister figure to Clark. I saw no real chemistry, and by the time she actually took more interest in him the romance felt forced and wrong. I also don't like how she's this marysue character that can seemingly do whatever plot demands of her without any true struggles. She's boring and uninteresting. In Smallville Lana felt like the right one for Clark, and Lois just felt wrong. Again, it's just in this particular series, but I can't overlook it.

@@hoppeanofasgard1365 that’s fascinating. It’s crazy how two people can watch the same show and have opposite reactions. I loved the 90s Superman tv show, so I myself thrilled when Lois came along because I knew she was endgame, so I didn’t invest in the Clana storyline and just wanted to hurry up and get to the Clois storyline. I can see your perspective if you just were watching Smallville for what it was at the time in Clark’s life and not the overarching Superman story.
