If you want all three gears in the 3 speed Flash-oMatic transmission, you need to put it in Drive 1 not Drive 2. Drive 2 is second gear starts.

My folks owned the same car brand new off the showroom floor. Mom always wanted a convertible. Ours was the beautiful turquoise green with white insulated top. Rear window was hard cristal. Borg Warner trains and a 326 AMC motor. This is a cheaper alternative.

He said, “Its got the turbo right there, so that definitely added, not stock.” That is definitely stock. Its the LTG 2.0 Ecotec turbo 4 cylinder engine GM drops in a wide range of their vehicles. The ZZP intake is the reason you’re hearing the turbo noises, not an aftermarket wastegate. It also has a ZZP throttle body upgrade kit from what I can tell and more than likely their tune. Also ZZP’s big brake kit front & rear. Pretty special car. ZZP must’ve thrown their entire catalogue at it.
@pumpkinface81514 жыл бұрын
EXACTLY!!
@r3wturb0x513 жыл бұрын
if zzp threw their entire catalog at it it would have an aftermarket turbo, head bolts, pistons and rods, high flow cat+downpipe, resonator, and ecu and crank out 500+ whp
@simcityauto96103 жыл бұрын
@@r3wturb0x51 if ZZP threw their entire catalog at it now, yeah maybe. This video was made 2 years ago and the car was built 2 years prior to that. Making it a 4 year old ZZP build. I’m not 100, but I’m pretty sure they didn’t have 500 horsepower ATS builds back then. They maybe had builds a tad over 400 back then. I probably should’ve worded differently though. Should’ve stated that they probably threw their entire bolt-on catalog at it.

Looks amazing, outside is stunning and inside preety. Congrats. One question: the 67 425 starfire was the top at that year? cause some 68's top used the 455ci. Tnks for the video, wonderful model!

Wow that brings back memories I had one of them my 67 was blue with a white vinyl top it being a 2 door had more room than for door crown Vic does now it had 375+ k miles in 1989 when I traded it to a guy who put the 425ci in a 1973 442 and he still drives it today
