Mr. Bohdan, I am from BRAZIL and I bought 2 timbres, 1 for me and one for my professional violin teacher. Could you tell me the difference in sound and characteristics of the timbre string for the string that will be released in February? Thank you.
@WarchalStrings4 күн бұрын
Hello Fabricio! Thank you for your interest and your question. What we are looking for with the new string model is more sound power and a more focused projection, keeping the characteristic Warchal tone but brighter. We could say that they would be of a "more modern taste" or more "soloist" compared to the Timbres. As for the launch, we do not have the confirmed date (not February). But we will surely be announcing it on our networks, so stay tuned! Best, Patricio Franciulli - Warchal Team

May I ask which strings model were used in the beginning of the video?
@WarchalStrings3 күн бұрын
Hello Wayne, and thanks for commenting! The strings Bohdan is playing are the "Timbre" which is our top of the range model and is sold exclusively through luthiers. b2b.warchal.com/pages/luthiers-exclusivity-program If you want to find out more about these strings, I invite you to check out the other videos here on KZbin. You can also visit the website www.warchal.com and follow us on our Facebook and Instagram accounts. Best regards! Patricio Franciulli - Warchal Team

@WarchalStrings Thank you. I was hoping they were not Timbre. As Timbre is the only Warchal not readily available in Taiwan.

Clear, open and vibrant with color! I’m looking forward to hearing them in person soon. Thank you for posting these videos!

Yes, they keep that characteristic "Warchal tone", but improving the focus and projection strength. Then tell us when you have tried them. It won't be too long! Best, Patricio Franciulli - Warchal Team

Very interesting sound indeed , very clear yet with “body”.

Thanks for your comment! Another thing that can't be appreciated too much in the video is the power they have! We even had to turn up the volume of the spoken part a lot, otherwise it would be too low in comparison. Best, Patricio Franciulli - Warchal Team

@@WarchalStrings I'd be interested to hear from your perspective what are the indicators that tell you it's time to change your strings.

@@WarchalStrings We generally characterize violin string sound as clear, complex, warm, or bright. Are there any scientific or quantitative metrics used by sound engineers to identify and measure these qualitative factors?

Gosh, the new strings sound excellent. It is a “night and day” difference. Bravo. Ps: my previous comment was critical of the instrument. Your strings sound wonderful.

Thanks for your comment Bruna! We really appreciate your suggestion, and of course we will do it very soon! It is often difficult to capture the essence of a sound or the subtle differences in a recording for KZbin and even more so if that video is later played on a mobile device. So we will do it with the highest possible audio quality, knowing that it is always best to appreciate them with the live sound. Your comment also helps us grow. We appreciate it if you want to share this video and this channel with your friends and colleagues, so we continue to grow as a community and it encourages us to continue creating content for you. Thank you!!! Patricio Franciulli - Warchal Team

Pozdravujem z USA a držím palce! Aj ja som si dal asi 22 ročnú prestávku od huslí, ale počas posledných 5 rokov ich pomaličky ich oprašujem, respektíve skôr zaprašujem kalafunou :-). Tu v Oklahoma som si kúpil medzivojnové husle "Made in Czecho-Slovakia" a osadil som ich Vašimi výbornými strunami Warchal Amber. Ďakujem za krásne tóny!
