I really enjoyed watching this. My favorite MMO was EverQuest and I had a roommate who played this and I wanted to try playing but my computer was way too slow. I started saving money but learned the game died and I was bummed. I remember the crafting looked addictive. I wonder if I kept track of all my KZbin view time watching MMOs, how that would compare with my past gameplay. I watch Project99 gameplay and surprisingly there are active populations still playing. I am tempted but I’m afraid I’d get totally sucked in… again 😅

Hammy kicked my ass 3-4 times. I'm a wizzie so basically a paper cannon, which did me no favors. Once I understood the tactics, well I still got my ass kicked. Even with Kenny! I'm taking a friend next time! Love your videos man! Very well explained!

Are the Au Ra playable at the standard game if I buy it? Or do I need expansions?

In case people are wondering about the barbershop. You have unlock the Aesthetician by completing the side quest: Beauty Is Only Scalp Deep. Minimal level requirement is 15, and you have to have completed the quest: Call of the Sea first. Once unlocked, ring a summoning bell inside any inn room to summon the Aesthetician. Edit: Almost forgot. The side quest is located at Limsa Lominsa, Upper Decks, inside The Drowning Wench inn/tavern. NPC is a serving girl named S'dhodjb.

The game is beautiful, and I like most of it, I just can't seem to get over the movement. It feels so... clunky. I feel like I'm sliding over the ground instead of running on it, and moving/kiting just doesn't feel fluid. The only MMO I have played that doesn't feel that way is WoW, which is very snappy and feels good. You hit a key, you move, you release, you stop - instantly. There is no floatiness, there is no sliding/skating feeling. The same goes with abilities. You cast one ability, the responsiveness of the UI ties in with it perfectly. Other MMOs just feel sloppy and slippery, or rigid and unresponsive. I don't know if it's just a personal problem or what, but I hate it. WoW is shit right now and I'd like to play a different MMO, but I just can't get over the movement.

WOW....those are the worse/least creative races for a mmo I have seen I think.....I was almost thinking of trying ff14 out but WOW......playable races are a real deal breaker for me, these are so boring.

My brigand must do very poor damage, because I couldn't kill Nazkra fast enough before the adds became to many and both me and my merc died :P So far, I have done this quest line on by Dirge, which was easier, so I think it does make a big difference what class you are playing as to whether these types of instances are hard to very hard to complete without dying multiple times..

I tried to do the first boss. I have all Mastercrafted Resolve 9 gear and all Master spells or better. I'm a Guardian. I used the same Inguisitor as you. Don't know if they changed it since you made this vid but I die from the poison AOE,. I have backed off all the way to the other end of the zone and I still get poisoned till I die. I know this might be asking alot but can you plz try this place again with min gear and tell me what I'm doing wrong. Thank you.

I played EQ2 since launch off an on over the years but i too think i have perma quit right before the Rum Cellar update, I dont see myself going back. I also am playing WoW again, Legion has been great!! I do not see any other games on the horizon except Pantheon, cant wait for that.

I quit at the exact same time. After seeing what the pacs were going to be I realized they were on a path to just put out same old content but revamped for the new levels. I have now also switched to WoW on Stormrage. I always enjoyed your content and would like to see more

Right after you left you could do daily and weekly quests for ethereal coins and after you get 90 you can get any of the three runes :c

Fatality quits eq2 to go to WoW, Tiayo quits eq2, Borgio quits to go to WoW, Kaaria the best ranger in the game quits to go to WoW.
