@@creed55 I appreciate you taking the time to check it out.. and thank you for the compliment.. the front air dam I designed complemented the tail pan nicely IMHO.. The biggest issue with the tail pan was the struts that hold the lower section of quarter panel.. a good hit and they snap off the lower sections.. the front air dams proved to be quite stout though.. 👍

Nice video. I'm replacing diff and input with GP5 and the Horizon Hobby how-to video has camerawork that would make Bigfoot videos blush. You can't see a damn thing in Horizon's video, pardon my French. Horizon gets an A for effort, Traxxas aint gonna release a video walking you thru how to customize your ride, but the execution is abysmal. Your video actually helped, and i could see enough of the car, and your descriptions of what you were doing. Please note: I'm not slamming your footage. It's gotta be a b*tch and a half to wrench on things with a camera in the way. Very helpful video. Thanks a million. With a few more steps, I'll be running 4 same-sized GRPs on my Felony, and no paying out the ass for rear Hoons that last 2 battery packs.

Unfortunately, no.. that raminator was converted to electric, and he sold the engine.. so the project was halted.. i still have the casting's, but no engine to mock them to... There were also significant differences in the engine mounts, so those would need to be fabricated as well.. unfortunately this video was as far as it ever went.. sorry to disappoint.. 🙏

I am going to say that suits the Arrma felony much better than the original did. I didn't like the original because of the gaping holes, Polo RC Creations did make lights for it, but I would rather have your custom-made Camaro for the arrma felony if I had one, I have really bad impulsiveness when saving my money, I have been trying to save up, and I have got £57.10 saved up but I might try to save up for the arrma felony. So I can get that bumper, but it's too bad for me because I live in the UK and not the US and my dad doesn't trust the shipping containers, so I might end up losing it at sea, so yeah, by the way, that bumper looks sick as hell.

No sir, I try to lean away from motor fans if at all possible in a basher.. it just makes more broken fans to replace.. they take an absolute beating when coming down from the big jumps.. You can definitely cool the motor, but you should use a larger fan.. either 30mm or 40mm.. if you are going to do it you may as well get the most you can out of it.. 👍

@@jonnyrc339 gotcha, the reason I asked if you had a printer is because the files are still available over on cgtrader.com The main reason is stopped production to vacuum form them was to increase durability.. 3d printed stuff is great, but being rigid plastic it can and will break in a crash.. not a big problem for those with printers that can just print another.. Vac formed polycarbonate was definitely the answer, i just couldn't make it happen with life getting in the way..

Hi. I found this video recently and want to say Thank you! for it. I have a question or two when choosing the replacement ssr. On the original it says: DC-12:40A 220VDC 3V~32VDC I found an ssr like this: DC to DC Input 3-32VDC To Output 5-240VDC 100A Single Phase. Is this possible to use? Is it dependant of the voltage of the power outlet? In my country we have AC 220V. The printer worked with the original one just fine for three years. I have no clue about the values and voltages... I understood it is needed to be dc-dc and higher amps. But for the rest I m just blank. I ve already ordered a mosfet module - I hope I will use some instructions on how to connect that I found also here but wanted to have an alternative with the ssr. Whichever comes first... If you have an advice - Thank you again!
@camaroboy383
@camaroboy383 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for checking out the video and stopping in to leave a comment..👍 The supplied voltage to the printer has no affect on which ssr to use .. the determining factor is the output of the power supply, which In these cases they are DC to DC... so the one you found will work..

I personally wouldn't run anymore than 15* of timing on that combo..
