This is not true .. that thermal imaging is being blocked by what you wrapped it in .

This is the worst thing in the world to use. That foam expands and will give you so much problems. After awhile from walking on it the foam will compress then you will have a mushy spot. There are better products out there for this.Ask me how I know.😡😡😡

Thanks!!! A great tip. I had a large area of depression underneath an engineered bamboo hardwood floor. Basically the subfloor is slightly uneven but noticeable enough which was hard to appreciate before installing. I did use the regular Great Stuff foam after the “windows and doors” one. In my case, I felt the regular type provided better structural support than the low expansion one. I put weights (a case of planks on each side) to prevent over expansion for the cure period.

Great video, my floor area was about 14 inches wide so I taped the laminate seam the entire length. Ball filler was too small for tube so razor sliced end to insert. Taped together as shown and then used glue gun to cover tape ends for secure. worked like champ. weighted seam with 2 , 5# weights on 1x2 board. Holes had little yellow beads come out, sliced off, redrilled hole and sealed with some wood putty. Thanks for the how to video.

Important info here:: I bought the cheaper 2 pack version off of amazon. It says compatible with all chamberlain yellow button GDOs. It does not say anything about "myQ" ... They dont work.... Im going to try the other brand for 20 bucks a pc and see if that works. The other 20 dollar units do say "myQ" in the description. I will post what I find. If the 20 dollar units dont work Ill probably just solder onto the spider to jump out to a old style pushbutton switch. But PIA. Note: for a test I did rig up two of the large factory push button panels on one wire set and they both work fine. Ticks me off I would have to spend 50 bucks x 2 for a switch though.

Uh... Thanks a lot dude. Not. This was a terrible mistake. I had to do the same thing with the pry bar but in my case, I broke the PVC pipe under my tub. Now I'm gonna need to cut out ceiling under my bathroom to access the drain pipe and figure out how to replace more than just the drain stop thingy.
