@jonathanporter5406 well if you keep them ventilated and aerated they can last days. Just up to you how much care you give them. Obviously the cooler the water they come out of the easier they are to care for.

I know this is kind of a personal question, but during the peak of your guiding I’m curious as to what kind of money you can make in a year. I’m not looking for a way to get rich, but I’d love to know if you can make a living enough to support a family doing it.

I never thought about getting sponsors through guiding. I’m 39 and making some sort of career out of fishing has always been a dream. I’d love to know how you approached the companies to get something like a boat deal. I live in MS about an hour from the MS river and that’s where I primarily fish. I always worry about having enough clients to make a living doing it here. I guess there’s only 1 way to know for sure

What about fishing a river with a steady current? Put him over the side of boat hes sit going to drown with current push threw back of gills yes?

@OldSchoolCatfishingWithCatmatt thanks for responding back alot don't. Love the idea of the stringer but rock river current is a pain to deal with sometimes. If have any other ideas for flat bottoms without livewells would like to hear. Also like your catfish filled cutting idea with removing mud vein definitely going to try that
