My university always used this song as the climactic closing piece in their Christmas show. I was looking for a recording that sang it like they did, with a slightly faster temp to convey the excitement and triumph of Christ’s birth. This comes close!

Sounds muffled....Was it how it was recorded .....or those crazy masks? No fun to watch this without seeing their facial expressions. 😥

I am thinking ,if with mask and voice getting muffled ,the choral tone is excellent. Imagine if they sing without mask . Omg. ... God bless the Choir.

A simple song but so beautiful. I've always liked this one from the first time I sang it. A great recording here. Our community is blessed to have a great composer and conductor in Dr. Tom Porter.

I can't help but feel the irony of this song as we all seem to be lost in the doom and gloom of 2020. Great reminder that we must not forget our blessings--and rejoice--as we approach Christmas season. Great opener for this concert.
