If I may suggest... You can also use a silicone baking liner that fits your hot air fryer. My fryer is 8x8 inches... so I found a 4 inch high, 8x8 silicone baking liner. Works perfect and totally reusable. Just purchase the liner the size of your fryer basket and at least 4inches tall. Temu has them for about $3USD or so. Amazon has them but much more expensive for the same item.

Yes, you can bake a cake without an airfryer basket, you can use an airfryer size mold. In my other videos, you can see how to cook a cake without the basket
