Human being are greedy, assumptive, and forgetful. We want to make a lot of money. We assume that we are going to live for a long time. We forgot to live as we often forget to do a lot of things that is why retailers insist no receipt no return. Who lost receipts? 😮😂 In my opinion, there shouldn’t be a retirement age in our minds and if we can afford them, don’t wait but live our lives and do things as if we are also in a retirement age. There is nothing wrong with go camping and fishing at age 20s while go college or working. Why we have to wait until age 65s to go camping, fishing, golfing, traveling, etc.?

I would love to be able to buy land but its all so very expensive. Our home is in town with terrible neighbors. Definitely need a plan because we are in our 50's already. Our home has a decent mortgage compared to what homes are now but we still have to grind it to keep bills paid. Good news is we are almost debt free except for the house. Cars we pay cash for. I would love to move to the country but afraid we would never find anything affordable and would definitely be more than we currently pay. Its tough!

I just turned 41 and I dialled everything back last year. Built a tiny home on wheels and parked it on a farm for 6k inclusive per year. I’m a MGTOW so it works out great for me. Even if you paid 100% of your house off, your regular taxes and bills and maintenance will always be more than what I pay. I was going to buy property but I think now that I’ve lived like this for a year, this is the cheapest way to retire early. Being an owner compared to what I’ve got doesn’t seem worth it if you can’t retire because of regular bills. The way I’m living I can retire in a few years without help from anyone but myself. My investments in myself are much better than any investment the gov makes anyway.

Awesome video. This is what every parent should show their children every two years or maybe yearly. I'm worried about my children and have told them SS won't be there for them even though they are paying in. I have a small Solo stove that uses twigs to heat up water for coffee in my pour-over cup.
@GoosePondHideoutWithRob2 күн бұрын
The important fact with SS is you pay in for the people currently receiving funds. With the promise you will receive funds in the future. For example, young people in the 20s and 30s are paying in so their grandparents get paid.

City people are way more educated and civil in comparison to rural people that are extremely conservative, supremacist, superior, racist, prejudiced, unkind, narrow mind, uneducated, and so uncivil. A person of color enters a rural area, and everybody acts like it's the end of the world already, whereas in the city, everybody behaves civil because people are educated enough not to discriminate, but understands.

Hey Rob, i am amazed at the amount of people that eat at restaurants regularly. It is really quite incomprehensible. We literally eat at restaurants maybe once a year. And this is not due to cost. It is due to the fact we cook the best of everything we love right at home. I eat the best hamburgers the best ribs the best casserole the best homemade sauerkraut...got two sauerkraut batches fermenting now. Eating in restaurants is cheapening the experience in my opinion! Haha! I live in Ohio Amish Country thats probably why lol

Every Man should primarily know how to hunt, fish, process all game, find and manipulate water, fire skills, garden, animal husbandry, cook, can and store food, and sew. Then, secondarily, he should learn wood working and wood construction. He should learn how to use hand tools and other skills not connected to electricity. If you can do it without electricity, you can certainly do it with electricity. All of that should be a good place to start. If he doesn't learn these things, he can't pass it on to his children, and does them a disservice.

Zero. Still cooking from scratch, I can't stand prepared foods, it leaves a repulsive aftertaste. I remember Ritz Crackers as a kid, so I bought a box last year, the aftertaste was repugnant, so I threw them out to the skunks that can process anything without getting sick. Yes, the card index, but, KZbin is my 'go to' today. I still mend. I'm fairly self sufficient because I never had any help.
