Awesome graduation speech--well, awesome ANY kind of speech!! Thank you Victor and the UVt Rubenstein School for this. If only all people would take this into their hearts and APPLY it in their dealings with other people, all creatures, and our fragile Earth. I've seen a lot of graduations, but never one like this. Well done!

A couple of things that really reached out to me: The man and woman behind Victor's right arm and the man in the front row, behind his left arm REALLY seemed to "get it". Watching their faces throughout the talk, one could see the recognition. This is the special thing about Victor, he happens to be a really gifted musician, but more, he is a truly gifted person!

I've loved and listened many times, but this one made me actually cry. You are a most amazing man, Mr. Victor Wooten. What an absolutely moving speech, so well delivered! Thank you for sharing your insight and your message! I may re-watch this once or twice more before sharing with my most important people and likely a few others. Beautifully said and, as always, great playing!

Wow. Just wow. This man is one of the greatest musicians I've ever heard, and is also one of the wisest. He doesn't lord his time put into music over people and understands that he was blessed with that situation to be born into music. And because of that humbleness, he has so much wisdom to share and is genuinely a great person. This speech should be something that goes down in history as something to be studied, by musicians and non-musicians alike. There's so much to learn from him!

What a perfect timming, all the introspection in the "adagio" part of the song, with the minor chords, and then he unleashes a fast slap solo, alowing the release of his and the audience's emotions, and they (we) all clapped for that feeling.
