It's a Sunday morning and Amsterdam is just waking up. The air is cool and clear as you walk along the cobblestones of the canal, your footsteps melting into silence.🇳🇱✨ You walk with your video camera, slowly capturing footage of early opening stores, people cycling by, cast iron cannons, and backstreets. In this winter story that has just begun, the camera lens captures not only the landscape, but also the passage of time itself in the frame. You walked through this city in the morning, where silence and movement intersection and continued taking video, capturing moments such as the winter light rippling on the surface of the canal. Thank you Mike, as usual. I agree, there is something beautiful and characteristic about Amsterdam rainy nights. Yes indeed Christmas lights are starting! The big tree on the Dam will be put in place on the 8th of December. This year, I am planning to make the ultimate Christmas lights video of Amsterdam. Thinking of coming up with the most interesting areas with the most beautiful Christmas lights all over Amsterdam. Hoping to reach a lot of people around the world, like you, Mike. That is something I love about doing this, through KZbin I can reach the entire planet and have a (micro) impact on someone’s life. That is also why it is so important to me to keep improving the quality of my videos! I am realising this has become quite a long response. Wishing you a good day Mike!

Well done again J, always a different point of view. Off course rainy weather is almost daily in Ámsterdam but you have a certein combination between hour and place to be. I think that you are becoming a professional. Go further, and thanks.

Thank you Pablo for saying that! It tells me I am on the right track! You are right, to find the right time and place is not always easy. Especially since I am working full time too haha. I prefer to film around sunrise/sunset or at night, because the light and ambience is the most special around those times. Last Saturday I wanted to film at night because it was raining a lot, but there was too much wind, almost like a storm. So I couldn’t film unfortunately. Hopefully better luck this week! Thank you for your nice comment! 🙏🏻
