@@mattiejackson3423last year at our school there were 5 freshmen on the varsity team but each year it kinda depends but the freshmen on the varsity team were very talented and it’s less common for freshmen on varsity.

Hey band and guard, do you ever wondered why your parents choose to spend the day riding stinky busses, loading and unloading and reloading trailers, lugging your props and flags around, refilling your water jugs, coordinating meals, worrying over silly plumes, fighting the heat and rain, just so you can march for eight glorious minutes? We do it for these moments, the moments when you transcend all of it, the moments when you show the world, win or lose, something beautiful, the best of yourselves. Thank you all!

What I would recommend to rehearsals is getting a gallon jug, and getting a frozen water bottle in it. Also, having to practice for Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays for two-three(ish) hours may seem a lot of work, plus band camp, plus grades to keep up with seems like a lot, but if you plan your time accordingly, it all will work out, if you know what you're doing.
