It's a very difficult program to use; if the developers don't understand what people need, they won't be able to create it.

In my version of Snagit, under the All-in-One capture, there is something called "Panoramic Capture". You can scroll down to capture the "Down Panorama".

My question is; How did you do the zoom on second 20 to the cursor?
@_snagitАй бұрын
That was done in Camtasia - which is also made by TechSmith. It has a powerful screen recorder, and a full video editor - with the ability to not only zoom in on the cursor, but also add a variety of effects to the cursor to give it emphasis - like slightly increase it's size, like you see in this video.
@andreashe36Ай бұрын
@@_snagit I know. I also have camtasia. Anyway for me I am missing this for a quick video. Therefore I want to edit less possible, but simply say "follow cursor" and "zoom in on every click".

While these methods are great I would love to see a "Remove background" button added to SnagIt. Removing the background is so common now it should just be a single click operation.

Did you zoom in? Depending on how long you scrolled they can get pretty narrow (appearing), but you should still be able to zoom in at regular resolution when complete. In fact, if you upload to our free Screencast service (when you hit "Share Link), you'll be able to view it so that it fits into a window easily too.

Is it possible to add in Snagit on Windows 11 the setting like on Macos "Keep a duplicate editable capture when saving" to can toggle this function just when we need it?

I use both macOS and Windows 11. One downside of using macOS is that, when I edit a collage of multiple screenshots layered on top of each other in a canvas, I am unable to add a callout or any other element and resize it over the added screenshot in the collage in the canvas. When I try to do this, it automatically selects the screenshot instead of allowing me to drag something on top of it, as is possible in Windows. The only way I can do this in macOS is by dragging from the favorites window and then resizing the callout in the canvas. Is there any workaround for that? Thank you very much
@_snagit3 ай бұрын
We have an option to force draw if you hold down option, but it appears that is conflicting with option + drag to duplicate an object. We will pass this along to the team to figure out!

Haha, in your email you were showing a picture where the webcam was masked in a circle, but the person (you) was partially extending that circle with the hands. I thought: that's impressive! I want to know how she did that! Only to find that this was just a teaser. And yes, I do this with Camtasia, in a Circle, a lot. Thanks anyway. 🙂
