I left ut and then left to build a home in a warehouse which we pretended had offices. But the bathrooms were tiled with the most beautifully tiled blue tiled tiles. What can you do?

Jesus that's repetitive. But I'm old now. And I love all the lads involved. And I've lived in Europe since 2002. So I'm just hoping they'll forgive the errors. These lads are so smart and will help the world. Listen to them.

Thank you for this excellent tutorial. I’ve watched this several times and, as a landscape architecture it’s become an integral a part of my site analysis because the finished rendering help clients visualize the terrain so naturally.

I was one of those Dirty Nothings ripped out of a live oak on Waller Creek that day. I just found this video. Thank you for the memories. The day in jail was educational. A few days later I was passing Erwin's office. Someone had lit a cardboard box full of twigs outside his door. While I dragged the burning box away from the wall, another student called the fire department,. We both walked quickly away, assuming ol' Frank would blame us instead of thanking us for saving his office. I guess we succeeded. The building didn't burn down. Tish Lehman M.A. 1970

Super helpful, thanks. My goal was slope arrows and setting their colors based on slope, but this instance worked the same way.

The only question I have is how and who's going to fund the project? ...the answer is nobody. Don't bother learning to design when you can't make it a reality.

Cute! (and delicious :-) ) Yay for the park & nature! How about some jellybean kayaks & deer, e-bikes and right-sized, shared, autonomous, electric vehicles (SAEVs)? We'll have SAEVs with dynamic ride-sharing (DRS) in the vehicles, so it's an on-demand, all-electric transit system (where CapMetro & other agencies contract out the services through competitive market players, like Lyft, Cruise, & Chariot). And credit-based congestion pricing (plus distance-based & weight-based fees on all motorized vehicles), to encourage much smarter mode choices. Hook 'em!

On November 17, CM2 was happy to host Ms. Lydia Ndagire during our monthly Brownbag event online. During the Q&A session, a question regarding the project's use of a 5-mile buffer came up that Drs. Lewis & Goodwin wanted to address further: We identified that parameter during the initial year of the project when we began with the US 290 corridor as the travel shed reflecting travelers, who would be open to access a line haul facility via a Park and Ride to travel into Houston or Austin. It is not hard/fast, but the paragraph below is from TCRP 95 (2004), Chapter 3, Park - and - Ride/Pool. “Driving distance to park-and-ride facilities appears to vary somewhat by mode and size of the metropolitan area, with longer driving distances being associated with exceptionally good transit service and also outlying park-and-ride facility locations. The majority of park-and ride users typically come from within 5 miles and more than 80 percent travel less than 10 miles to their facility. Access trips for end-of-line Metro/HRT park-and-ride facilities, outer commuter rail lots, and park-and-pool lots tend to be longer than average. For example, 56 percent of the automobile access trips to Tri-Rail in Miami were 5 miles or less, but 30 percent were 6 to 10 miles, 10 percent were 11 to 20 miles, and 4 percent were 21 to 40 miles.” (pg. 3-8)
