Oh awesome, Happy Birthday man, happy I could get a record on this day for ya! Also I think that's good considering you're just starting regular! Regular & extreme are a lot different to single train since you utilize a lot more of the mazes and you have to get used to how the ghost trains move around. You'll get a lot better at regular/extreme with more practice though I'm sure! And also my birthday is kind of coming soon too, on Feb 2!

@mrhollwood Now all I have to do is Jumping and Championship I. I gave up on trying to improve Championship II because it's really difficult to try and catch that last train in the maze you finished on, so my score for now in that is 4,684,950. All my scores on Single Train currently add up to 51M. Also, what's the #1 score for the Xbox and Switch version of this course? I don't have a Switch, obviously, but I've been thinking of buying this game for my Xbox sometime soon.

@Theworstnoobever Okay nice job on the 51M milestone! And good luck on getting #1 on those courses! And yeah my strategy for getting that last ghost train on Championship II is quite difficult. Not sure why I unlisted it years ago, I think it was public before. But anyways I think this route will be a little easier to pull off than my 5M route. It gets one less ghost train. I don't remember the exact #1 scores on Xbox & Switch. But I'm pretty sure #1 on Xbox is around 5,513M and on Switch, #1 is around 5.523M I think last time I checked like a month ago

@Theworstnoobever Wow that's an awesome score man, congrats! I'm sure you'd be one of the best undoubtedly on Playstation if you were playing on a controller on this version of the game! Considering what you're accomplishing with those arrow keys!

@mrhollwood Oh, believe me. It's incredibly difficult with the arrow keys alone. In fact, after completing the course, I actually had to clean out the spaces surrounding the arrow keys because they had so much dust and dirt (possibly from sweat) accumulated. It will be hard to play using a DualShock controller, but I guess it takes practice. The only courses I have left to do are Jumping, Mountain, and Championship I.

@Theworstnoobever Oh wow I see. Makes sense you would have to clean out those keys after some time. Personally I think a controller is much better for controlling Pac-Man. I think you'd be a bit better at the game once you get used to that controller. And good luck on getting all the #1 scores for single train on steam!

@@mrhollwood Nah, it's honestly no biggie to clean. I just use disinfecting wipes to do it. There is my brother's Xbox controller sitting in his room which I may use to play the game in the future. Might have to get used to the movement on the D-pad before using the control stick. I guess practice makes perfect. :D

I know at the beginning I skip a whole lot of dots. I do lose like a few hundred thousand points from this which isn't good. But here's the thing, I save a lot of time by skipping these dots. And with this extra time, I'm able to eat more fruits which give a nice push on the score, and I also eat an extra ghost train too which is worth approximately 270k points. So me skipping all those dots at the beginning was actually better in the end. And this strategy for this level is the most optimal. Previously I used to barely skip any dots (I skipped some so I'd have time to eat a couple fruits at the end which was more worth it from my testing) and my best score was 5,080,730 and I performed pretty well with this strategy. But with this new route I came up with, skipping tons of dots and eating extra fruits and the one extra ghost train is the way to go since I managed to get well into 5.1 million territory. These extra points are just too valuable and it's not worth eating every single dot because of this. The dots are pretty valuable but in some cases, it's better to skip some (or a lot) and it'll be worth it from the points from mainly the extra fruits and extra ghosts

Yeah there's not really anybody uploading this kind of Pac-Man content right now except for like a few people only. And yeah, I started playing this game the first day it was released and I have been playing competitively and playing on and off since then. @mrhollwood I'm probably thinking of doing Hexagon, but that's going to be pretty annoying as well. I'm still getting PTSD flashbacks from 6-4 in Adventure, which uses Hexagon and has an incredibly stressful time limit. As for Single Train in Hexagon, my current score is around 5.026 million, so I'll try to see if I can improve it. I'm never going to go anywhere near Highway because of how rage-inducing it is to restart over and over.

That would be so cool if they brought Big Eater into CE2. And I agree with you, I could see 7 mil happening!

@mrhollwood What I think they should do for Big Eater in CE 2 is make the first maze normal (just few minions but end with a fruit) and then make every other maze after that have a massive amount of minions and always end with a power pellet.

@@mrhollwood Honestly I'd be down for CE3, but seems like Namco has forgotten about Pac-Man. The only way pretty much now is for someone to make a fanmade version which would have to contain a lot of precise coding.

I totally get it, it is difficult getting this other ghost train. I don't think you should try to get this train right now unless you want to. I think it might be better if you try using a strategy like I do that involves not getting that extra ghost train. @@mrhollwood Well wouldn't you know, I followed your strategy carefully and managed to squeeze out 5,025,000, which puts me at #1 on the Steam leaderboards (look for the #20 spot because of the hackers again). I don't think I will ever try to beat my score again as it's an absolute nightmare to try and get 5M on the course. And also, I wanted to ask, how do you check your total score on the game? I know you can do it for DX, but I'm not sure how to do it for this game.

@@Theworstnoobever That's awesome, congrats on the #1 ranking and the 5 mil milestone! You're definitely not the worst noob! As for how I see my total score. There is no way to see it in-game. I just have a spreadsheet that has all 30 of my PBs and I have a formula that calculates the sum of all those scores, and that's how I get my total score. I liked how CE DX had a total score to look at. I found it cool to see my total go higher as time went on, which is why I decided to make my own for this game too!

@@mrhollwood I wish you played the Steam version too so I could see your scores. It's pretty disappointing for me to not have a challenger after hackers took over the leaderboards. Hey, nice to meet ya! Well done on your near 5.7 mil score & #1 score on steam! I know exactly what you mean, I have the steam version of this game as well and I can definitely say it's harder to play with those arrow keys. It's definitely way better playing with a controller. Also I can relate, I've had to buy new a couple new PS4 controllers due to them having unbearable stick drift after using them for awhile. Anyways I wish you luck if you try to improve your scores!

@@mrhollwood Well, I've finally done it. After about 3 months, I've dethroned dkz_bison and become the first Steam player to reach 5.8M on this course, but it was one hell of a journey. My score is at #14 if you want to look at it.
