Thank you, but I would be interested in understanding how you put vertically those Anthirium flowers you have on the back in the video. Small plants are ok, but can you make a video where you fill the pockets with long plants that can disguise the pockets behind? Thank you in advance

Chris, I love this garden and that your product supports the creation of environments like this! Any chance you can name a few more of the plants they used to create it?

There are too many species to mention here. It's a beautiful collection of ferns and grasses and conifers. Japanese maples are in there. This was installed many years ago so we would not be able to reference exact names. Hopefully from the photos you can identify plants you would like to use. This beautiful installation by Living Green Design really shows how many beautiful plants can be included in a living wall.

Are there sizes to the florafelt vertical garden system? Is a larger size required for Japanese maples or can it be accommodated in the regular size one?
@PlantsOnWalls4 жыл бұрын
Our standard Florafelt Pocket Panel size is 10 inches wide by 6 inches tall and about 3 in deep, and for the Florafelt Pro System each grid is 6-in wide by 6-in tall. Our system is sized to accommodate our root wrap system. Unlike other wall container systems, roots grow unrestricted into the moist Florafelt growing medium so you can actually grow much larger plants. Japanese maples for example will extend their roots into the felt. They can reach full size and may require pruning to maintain a reasonable size. Thanks for sharing! Anyway, as you use succulents in this video, I reckon there is no issue with watering system. Do you also create vertical garden using common house plants and how's the irrigation system you use? Thanks you!

do you need to add further substrate to the pocket when the wrap is in, or just the wrap and off it goes?

Can the felt wrappings protect the plants in colder temperatures? I want to make some vertical gardens here in the Netherlands, but in the winter it can get below freezing temps few times per year.

@karendahl24155 жыл бұрын
But the plants were all grown in soil first! The system is not a closed system. What are you feeding the fish please? That is not a sustainable system. It is a garden on a wall made with elements and maintained with elements which were sourced from far away. It is a living work of art.
