I did yes. And the 9x4. Trigger just has more power for all shots despite being a low kick stick. I can rip wristers but I can also take good slappers the qr6 is worst for any other shot. @beerleaguebumhockeyreviewsКүн бұрын
Ccm has a habit of retooling to get small changes into production. Bauer warrior true doesn’t do this. In fact they barely make changes even at the 2 year cycle. Small tweak to the tracer over sync in weight for example. Where every ccm release has a tweak. New blade for dual feel from trigger 7,8 to helicoid on 9. Same with jet speed and tacks lines. They throw the helicoid on the stick as fast as they can to get to market. The problem with this is those changes happen least 6-12 month in advance to que production, so if something is wrong ( helicoid breaks to fast ) they can’t do anything about it until the next refresh cycle that takes a year. They probably planned helicoid on their lines 2 years ago and now they eating it

Can i suggest you something, instead of going to higher price point, go the second price point, they are basicly the same stick with some feature less and more material for better durability , exemple the trigger 9k does'nt have the helicoidal blade. And i've discovered something on my sherwood legend 1, by removing the cap at the end of the stick, we can see a little sticker inside and it says legend pro. Hey there! Huge fan of your videos. Wanted to know if you had any thoughts on buying nhl pro stock sticks vs. new. I’m a huge fan of the as2pro and 1n/1nxl models. I’ve been able to find these wrapped as new sticks fairly easily for around $150-200 at my local shop and at nhl team sales. Do you think that spending the extra money on the new top end stuff is worth it over these for any reason aside from warranty? I haven’t had unreasonable durability issues over the years and with the money saved I’m not super worried about not having a warranty at this point. Any insight would be great! Thank you
@beerleaguebumhockeyreviews12 күн бұрын
I have no issues with pro stocks from nhl teams for those who want “top end” sticks and gear without the prices. The only crappy parts is you don’t know what the sticks really is. It will perform and feel nice but it could be something you can’t get again. That works for a lot of players but not all. For example I want a specific weight and feel. I don’t do pro stock sticks for that reason. Years ago I purchased a Vancouver canucks stick that I was insane g3 build from Bauer, I chased about 6 sticks trying to find the same thing after the player left the canucks and never again found it. So that’s the crappy part about it

Hockey-Dad here. got ft7 pro for my son (11), because no ft6 (he's playing) was available at local stores. He is this kind of "no-wind-up" wrist shooter, and ft6 was not bad for that. Now with ft7, hes shots are.... really crapy ;) BUT - the puck receiving after hard passing is awsome! On ft6, the puck jumps away quite often, now they are sticked. Anyway: if (when) the ft7 will break, i'll try to get ft6 again.

Personally, I didn't like the way that it felt when stickhandling but it loads and releases well on the snapshots and slapshots. Obviously, it's also very lightweight at 365g. I personally like the way I can puckhandle on the FT Ghost. I think CCM and Warrior should put a joint collaboration together and use the FT3 and the LX Pro to produce a super stick.
