Just 10 years later and West Pasco has exploded, looks nothing like this in 2010.

Are speed brakes used for turns ? My simulator does that

I missed this when your video was published. Really great quality for 2009 camera technology. There are many more tall buildings now. That was quite a while ago.

Trying the rnav approach to this runway in flight sim, that final turn to line up with the runway is harder than it looks in this video, not long to line up correctly, kudos to the pilots. They make it look so easy.

The very first time I arrived at Burbank back in 1976 on a PSA 727 from Oakland, we landed on Rwy. 33 using this approach. And in all the times I've flown into Burbank since, not once have I ever again landed on Rwy. 33.

Only if there's no traffic, you're doing 80 m.p.h. and there are no police around to impede your progress.

Very cool video. If you pause it at time reference 1:22, you can see one of the worlds largest all wooden structures. It is a platform built off the side of a mesa where the Air Force tests all sorts of vehicles for electromagnetic pulse damage. They can roll a B52 out there and simulate large nuclear detonations EMP in order to better shield the electronics. Too bad it is in shadow, but still a very cool structure.
