The problem is the leadership and the lack of pride. I could not go to sleep on post or hang around the corrupt staff. I did not kiss the Wardens' ass or the Director because they would promise me a job because I was good ass kisser. It is called work ethics and the majority of the executive in the agency I had little or no respect for due to their ineptitude and lack of honesty and professionalism. Yes, there are lady people but a fish rotten from the head down and not the tail up. My point is you can get fired but its the leadership who ate lining the pockets. I blamed.the department of justice for not investigating.

I retired from BOP in 2020. I will admit, that while under covid protocol, I was separated for heath reasons. Sitting in a chair all day, hell yeah slept half the day. I had the sleep apnea diagnosis on my side. So they just left me alone.

I have repeatedly put down that we have Lts micromanaging and one that always says, "If you can't run your unit, I'll take your keys and you can hold my pocket." Nothing has changed. I'm positive that these surveys go right into a paper shreder and the positive one hit a desk. I'm sorry. I really am. Until I see some actually changes, I have no faith that the Bureau is gonna get better.

Never seen a QSI or SSP, have always worked my ass off for the BOP as well. I have literally worked side by side with people who *HAVE* gotten a QSI, while doing the same job at the same level as I did. I took the survey, I was honest, acknowledging effort and hard work is *NOT* equal, it's based on who you know, and who you suck up to. It's a sad fact that, I've just come to accept.

What’s a QSI? That said, I squared off last year with a RD as a lowly NSASD GS-8. They either have no concept of how bad the bureau has gotten, or have forgotten what it’s like to be line staff. I’m so happy I left that failing agency to one that respects me at least as a human being and not a warm body.

Congrats on the QSI! i got a $650 SSP, while managers got $1300, all as i did a lot of their work for them. Sure do feel valued and appreciated. We'll see how their big promotion of responding to the survey turns out.

Did a interview for OIG a few months ago they described what OIG does. I said I used to hear about you guys every other day whole panel bursted in laughter saying they are amongst the most invested agency in the country. Big surprise huh?

The RD's are and have always been clueless. Executive Staff have always been disconnected from line staff. I am so glaf I got out of the BOP. Went to another fed agency that actually respects and likes it's employees.
